I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the excellent and very satisfactory work on our Reuter organ console. I thoroughly enjoy playing it for services, as well as practice sessions during the week. It was so enjoyable working with Gary Waller and his assistant, both of whom were so cooperative in our requests concerning the rebuilding. Gary is such an extremely knowledgeable technician. Through the years we have been more than pleased with our association with the Miller Pipe Organ Company and look forward to many more years of association.

A Newly Expanded Division of Miller Pipe Organ Company

Just as pipe organs have "divisions" of Great, Swell, Choir, Pedal, etc., Miller Pipe Organ Company has a division too. While the wood shop always has been an integral part of the pipe organ business, in 1989 Miller Custom Woodworking was given its own identity to offer services to the general public, which usually doesn't think of organbuilders as woodworkers. Constructing new console shells and casework, as well as specializing in the design of church furnishings such as pulpits, baptismal fonts and altar furniture, MCW also began offering custom cabinetry and furniture.

After nearly three decades of rapid growth at the former Bardstown Road location, the pipe organ business and the wood shop needed expanded facilities. The move to our beautiful new location occurred in 2004 also affording both spacious new quarters. With the talented team of Ryan Goff, Craig Bayens and Seth Folsom, Miller Custom Woodworking proudly provides custom designed church furnishings with emphasis on fine craftsmanship and painstaking detail. A full range of woodworking services is available not only to churches and religious institutions, but to commercial and residential clients as well.
