INFORMATION
This is Opus 222. The condition of the organ is surprisingly good. All
of the top extension octave pipes(C362-C73) are missing. Everything
else is there. The Oboe is wired out of the 8' Salicional and the
Gedeckt Flute at 2-2/3' pitch. A real Oboe could be added. The space
requirements are 15' wide x 10' deep, but this organ could probably
make it in 8'. Ceiling height should be no less than 13'. The console
will need rebuilding and the windchests will need to be releathered.
The organ was removed in the fall of 1997 and is safely stored in the
Miller Pipe Organ Company storage facility. The organ's former home
was the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Memphis, TN. M.P.
